Meet Mark Dougall

R. Mark Dougall, the founder of Dougall Law Offices, has been a Tennessee licensed attorney since 1993.  In his law practice, Mark focuses on advising, negotiating, and overseeing transactions for individual and commercial clients.  The subject matter of his transactional work includes: real estate, estate planning (wills & trusts), probate, intellectual property, business formation & planning, and entertainment.  In the first ten years of his practice, Mark tried complex commercial cases in Federal Courts in a number of states. Now, limiting his practice to transactional work, his broad range of experience enables him to advise his clients to make sound decisions and to minimize the risk of costly future litigation.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta in June 1990, where he was a Dean’s List graduate and a midfielder for the men's lacrosse team. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he received an Eskinazi Fellowship. While in law school, Mark served as the Executive Editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal and was a co-founder and Vice President of the Indiana University Entertainment & Sports Law Society.

Mark has two children, Ryleigh and Destin, and lives in Williamson County.
